Garry and team are quick, reliable, honest and courteous etc. Could not have asked for more from any professionals. During COVID, we found some broken roof tiles as we are next to a golf course. Reached out to a few places and they either quoted ridiculous amounts or had a wait time of months and months out especially given that we have a 2 story house.

Garry came promptly to fix a leaking skylight, and quoted overnight for a leaking garage metal roof, which his fantastic team fixed a few days later. While doing this they discovered that some of the leakage actually was due a faulty house gutter, so they came back today and fixed that. I am greatly impressed by their professionalism, promptness, efficiency, quality of work, attention to detail, and not least their courtesy. I highly recommend The Roof Dentist without any qualifications whatsoever. Be sure to call them first! They are based in Box Hill South, Victoria, and work mainly in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

The roof dentist came and performed an inspection of our terracotta tile roof. They inspected the roof, found a damaged tile and also provided advice around condensation. Great honest service, thank you roof dentist!

Thank you to Gary for being so accommodating and providing the best advice when we discovered an issue with my elderly Mum’s roof recently. I was unsure of who to contact and solely went on the reviews online and they didn’t disappoint. Gary reviewed photos I sent explained what was needed and organised in his busy schedule to have it repaired quickly. My Mum was very grateful for their help and reasonable price. Garry and his team from the Roof Dentist did a full roof replacement at my place. Given the height, 45 degree pitch and the 6 dormers, it was a huge job and most roofers wouldn’t even take a look to give me a quote. We have been really happy with the job and the workmanship was top notch. This was a big job for us, it’s a lot of our savings to put on the line to get this done and it could have been a very stressful time but we felt really looked after and the results have just been great. It might seem like a small thing, but the workers in Garry’s team are really friendly and given they were at my place for a couple of weeks while I was working from home this made it a much nicer experience. Thanks to all the crew from Roof Dentist, it’s given us a real sense of security to have the job done right.

They found the leak and fixed it straight away! All the other roofers I contacted are only interested in charging you thousands of dollars to do a whole roof restoration rather than fixing the problem!

I called Garry to replace the flashing around my antenna as it letting rain water into the ceiling and was able to get an appointment the next day. He inspected the problem, went to pick up materials required, came back and fixed the issue immediately. He also identified and fixed two other issues while up on the roof and pointed out things to look out for that could potentially cause leaks in the future.Garry was professional, extremely knowledgeably and took the time to take before/after photos and explain the cause and repair in a way that could be easily understood by someone with limited knowledge on the topic. The service provide exceeded my expectations and I would definitely contact him again for anything roofing/gutter related. I highly already recommended this company to anyone who needs an experience and trustworthy roofing professional 😊 Thanks Garry!

On a recent Tuesday morning, Jan 2019, two Irish chaps supposedly from “R and S Roofing” wanted to alert me to the fact that they were doing some work on a nearby house and wanted to apologize for any noise, etc., their activities might cause. Then one of them suddenly noticed that I was missing a cap tile on my roof. What an amazing coincidence! Two roofing contractors just happened to be in the area and decided to be good samaritans and alert me to a roofing cap tile that had suddenly just disappeared.To cut a long story short, they said they couldn’t possibly fix it because they were so very, very busy with other work, but they wanted to alert me to the “hole” in case it rained and flooded the roof. They didn’t have time to fix it, but perhaps something might be arranged…?I was extremely suspicious of them and I think it showed.They said they might be able to return later with a tarpaulin to cover the gap while I made a decision about the required repairs. I didn’t expect them to come back, and now I had a hole in my roof that needed fixing.I searched for “Roof repair scam” which led directly to a blog post on “The Roof Dentist” website about that very subject. I was lucky enough to reach Garry who just happened to be in the area and was able to come straight over to investigate.Our suspicion about this being a scam was confirmed when Garry climbed the roof and found the “missing” cap tile hidden behind the chimney! He quickly replaced it and will return in a few days to do some repointing.A big “Thank you!” to Garry of The Roof Dentist for his quick response and his kind, courteous and professional manner.UPDATE:A follow-up to my experiences with The Roof Dentist company after my roof had been damaged by roofing scammers and needed some urgent repairs.Garry from The Roof Dentist undertook the original remedial action and a few days later Jarrod and Barry arrived to complete the work.It was a very hot and unpleasant day but they both completed the task like the professionals they are: skillfully and efficiently. They even selflessly took care of a few new issues discovered during the final repair process.In this age of “fly-by-night” operators and outright scammers it’s comforting to know there are companies and people we can still trust in.Many thanks again to Garry, Barry and Jarrod for their exceptional expertise and considerate manner.

In October 2017 Gary and his team fixed the major leaks in my roof. They took photos of the cause of the multiple leaks at the front and back of my house. They repaired the roof and showed me pictures of the repair work. At the beginning of December Melbourne experienced a huge downpour of rain and my house stayed dry. Gary and team thank you for fixing my roof, quickly and perfectly !!

To whom it may concern,I would like to express my sincere thanks and admiration for Gary from the Roof Dentist.Selling a house with one day to go before the auction, Melbourne did it’s thing and bucketed rain opening a previously repaired leak in my roof, leading to water pouring from the main bedroom and totally destroying the ceiling.From one quick recommendation by the team at Fletcher’s Real estate in Doncaster, Gary was on the scene within hours, had diagnosed the problem and come up with a solution.Not only did he diagnose a supposedly previously repaired fault, but he quickly and expertly devised a solution which was implemented by the next day allowing us to not only repair the ceiling ( as it was STILL raining ) but also take the house to auction.Gary and his crack team are an absolute credit to his business, and I applaud his ability to get a difficult job done so quickly, his amazing customer service, and his skill as a qualified roof plumber.I will be recommending Gary and The Roof Dentist to all my friends and family for any future roof plumbing needs.Kind regards,Steven Ellis.P.S. Good afternoon Andrew.Gary and his team finished our roof repair today and cleaned up after the job. I have authorised my PA to transfer the amount of your invoice for tomorrow.I think it appropriate that I make comment that it was an absolute pleasure to have Gary and the team at our home to effect the repairs to my roof. The workmanship was professional and timely, but most importantly the tradesmen you engaged were an absolute delight to deal with. Without exception each tradesman was pleasant to speak to and treated my wife with respect. They seemed to understand that this house is our home and by working long hours to get the job completed quickly they minimised the disruption that often accompanies having work done. One of the best experiences using a tradesman ever! Made an appointment, he turned up on time and made a detailed report of my roof and how he would fix the problems. Although I had got a few cheaper quotes, he was the only one seemed to truly know what he was doing. I had others ‘fix’ it before, but the leaks were still there and they wouldn’t honour their guarantee. We booked the job with Andrew and his team turned up and did a fantastic job. Courteous, polite and efficient, there wasn’t much disruption at all. Best of all, the problems are finally solved. Wish I’d found them in the first place.

The Roof Dentist have been fantastic in fixing my roof once and for all. I have had ongoing problems and had all sorts of cowboys come and go over the years and none really fixed my leaking roof. I have had quotes from The Roof Dentist before and they always seemed more expensive so I didn’t go with them. But the money and anguish, I spent in the meantime was a waste.
